Neil Andrew Coburn, age 24, of Whitehall, died on Friday, August 1, 2014 in the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Neil was born on April 3, 1990 in Black River Falls to Jay and Dawn (Berg) Coburn. He graduated from the Whitehall Memorial High School in 2008 and was employed at Ashley Furniture Industries in Arcadia.

Neil enjoyed his friends, fishing, music, cars, shooting trap, fast pitch softball and cruising the backroads.

Neil is survived by his parents, Jay and Dawn Coburn of Whitehall, a sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Nathan Wirkus) of Osseo; his grandparents, Deloris Coburn of Whitehall and Glenn and Yvonne Berg of Blair; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Neil was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Coburn.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Whitehall with Pastor Yvonne Marshall officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

The Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall is assisting the family with arrangements.
