Norman "T-Bone" Amlee Pederson, age 86, of Whitehall, died on Monday, February 4, 2013 in the Tri-County Care Center in Whitehall.

Norman was born on October 23, 1926 in Whitehall to Oscar and Amy (Amlee) Pederson. He married Clarice A. Sekse on June 12, 1963 in Galena, IL. Clarice preceded Norman in death on July 26, 2007.

Norman served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He and Clarice lived in Dixon, IL and Beloit, WI prior to returning to Whitehall.

Norman worked for Briggs Transport, Abner Thompson Bus Service, owned and operated his own service station in Whitehall and was employed as a certified nursing assistant with the Trempealeau County Health Care Center for 24 years prior to his retirement.

Norman is survived by three children, Karen (Kelly) Powers of Mondovi, Arlen (Deb) Sveen of Ettrick and Nancy (Donald) Lewis of Osseo; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a brother, Phillip (Ruth) Peterson of Salem, OR; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Norman was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred and a sister, Agnes.

Norman traveling, camping, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Whitehall. Pastor Kris Fahey will officiate. Burial with military rites conducted by the Hutchins-Stendahl American Legion Post #191 will be in the Trempealeau Valley Lutheran Cemetery in rural Taylor.

Visitation will be Friday, February 8, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
