Odile Anita Toraason, age 88, of rural Blair, died on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at her home.

Odile was born on January 9, 1934 in Whitehall to Albert and Ruth (Dahl) Toraason of Blair.  She graduated from the Blair High School.  While in school, she played in a piano recital and was the captain of one of the high school volleyball teams.  After high school, Odile went to Downey, IL and completed nurse's training to become a registered nurse.  She worked at the Tomah VA Medical Center prior to her retirement.

Odile and other retired nurses from the Tomah VA Medical Center would get together the last Thursday of every month for lunch which was something she always looked forward to.

Odile enjoyed knitting and made several Christmas stockings that have been cherished and will continue to be.  She had a laugh that would warm your heart.

Odile is survived by several cousins and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Odile was preceded in death by her brother, Gale Toraason.
