Otis Christ Christopherson, age 84, of rural Blair, died on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the Pigeon Falls Health Care Center in Pigeon Falls.

Otis was born on May 6, 1931 in Whitehall to Christ and Tina (Lund) Christopherson.

Otis served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He lived with his sister, Carolyn, in Chicago, IL where he was employed with Oscar Mayer. He later returned to rural Blair where he farmed with his twin brother, Orville.

Otis enjoyed the outdoors, playing cards and dancing.

Otis is survived by his sister, Carolyn Nyen of Blair and several cousins in Norway and in the Blair area.

In addition to his parents, Otis was preceded in death by his twin brother, Orville.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Blair Lutheran Church East with burial in the Fagernes Lutheran Cemetery in rural Blair. Pastor Barbara Bruneau will officiate.

Military rites will be conducted by the Knudtson-Mattison American Legion Post #231.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
