Paulette Sue Fox-Beardsley, age 62, of rural Blair, died on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse.

Paulette was born on August 23, 1957 in Whitehall to Wendell and Doris (Jacobson) Fox.

Paulette was the light in the lives around her. She was a free spirit who embraced everyday while taking care of everyone. Paulette was found working part time as a CNA, First Responder, hospice care and home health care. She spent much of her career at Gundersen Tri-County, first as a Registration Clerk and then eventually in patient billing.   She also filled in as needed as a CNA.

Paulette was very involved in the family owned coffee shop, Alternative Ground, where she and her family were commonly found.   Paulette loved spending any other time expressing herself creatively through photography, making jewelry, writing or doing any type of crafts. Somehow she found the energy to partake in karate and dance classes, kayaking and being in nature. In the recent months, Paulette would be found accompanied by Pip, her puppy.

Making time with family was important to her. She raised two beautiful children with William (Bill) Beardsley in Whitehall and gave them a wonderful life. Anything her children wanted to be involved in she supported and was by their side. Paulette has found her peace.

Paulette is survived by a son, Noah (Joy Galbreath) Beardsley of Whitehall; a daughter, Gabrielle "Gabby" Beardsley of LaCrosse; a triplet brother, Patrick Fox of Eau Claire; two sisters, Sharon Soppa and Wendy (Larry) Laufenberg both of Sechlerville; a brother, Chuck Fox of Tomah and her mother, Doris Fox of Whitehall.

Paulette was preceded in death by her father, two brothers, Robert and Dave Fox; her triplet sister, Pamela Fox and by her special friend, Scott Humphrey.

A celebration of Paulette's life will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall.
