Ralph N. Weisenberger Jr. age 84 of Blair, WI died on Saturday, August 17, 2013 in the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse, WI. Ralph was born on September 5, 1928 in LaCrosse to Ralph and Martha (Perkins) Weisenberger.
Ralph was employed as a manager of a lumber yard in Haugen, WI; he worked at Fort Mc Coy for a short time. He then owned and operated the Beach Bar for 25 years. Ralph was elected the Sheriff of Trempealeau County from 1992 till 2000.
Ralph was a good husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend; he had a kind helpful spirit and was always willing to help others. If someone stopped they better have time to visit. He enjoyed buying and selling farm machinery.
Ralph married the love of his life Loretta Marsolek in Independence, WI on September 7, 1953
Ralph is survived by his wife, Loretta of Blair; two children; Sharon (Edwin) Koch of St. Cloud, FL and Gary (Michelle) Weisenberger of Ettrick, WI. Two grandchildren Amber (Tim) Radatz of Pigeon Falls, WI and Dwight Weisenberger of Blair, WI. Two step grandchildren; Kristy (James) Jackson of Milwaukee, WI and Kevin Koch of Oahu, HI, also survived by one great grandson, Wilson Radatz and four step great grandchildren; Jordan, Shawn, Adianna and Devin. Ralph is survived by three brothers James (Audrey) of Ladysmith, WI, Jack (Barbara) of Fall Creek, WI and George (Shirley) of Arcadia, WI. Six sisters; Marge (Harvey) Arnold of Brookfield, WI, Phyllis (Marvin) Wolfe of Wisconsin Rapids, WI Eileen (David) Muench of Thiensville, WI, Jeanette Goodman of Miami, FL,Barbara (Carl) Rapp of Shakopee, MN and Mary Kay (Nathan) Abts of DePere, WI; a sister-in-law Jane Weisenberger of Arcadia, WI a mother-in-law Tracy Marsolek of Blair, WI and several nieces nephews and friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Joseph Weisenberger and a father-in-law Eli Marsolek.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday August 22, 2013 in the St. Ansgar Catholic Church in Blair, WI. Father Woodrow Pace will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 till 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 21, 2013 in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at church.
