Randy Lenus Berg, age 58, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully after complications of Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) on Sunday, April 19, 2020 in the Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire.

Randy was born on December 25, 1961 in LaCrosse to Lenus and Phyllis (Dahl) Berg. He graduated from the Whitehall High School in 1980. Randy continued his education, receiving degrees in Manufacturing Engineering and Plant Engineering from the University Wisconsin Stout.

Randy married Lori Thompson on November 8, 1986 in Pigeon Falls. The marriage welcomed three adored children. Randy was a successful Account Executive whose career brought him all over the country and required long days on the road. However, the miles never stood between attending his children's events.

Randy had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed golfing, playing fastpitch softball and spending countless hours fishing and hunting.

On February 13, 2019, Randy received the title of "Grandpa". The honor of becoming a Grandpa magnified his love for his family.

Randy is survived by his wife, Lori; three children, Adam Berg, Amanda (Lee) Matchey and Aaron (Morgan Perry) Berg; his grandson, Huxley Matchey; a sister, Rhonda (Rick) Malecha; a brother, Ryan (fiancee`, Melissa Tjader) Berg; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Lenus and Phyllis Berg; his paternal grandparents, Sophus and Olga Berg and his maternal grandparents, Floyd and Evelyn Dahl.
