Richard Joel Jackson, age 69, of Whitehall, died on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in his home.

Richard was born on October 11, 1944 in Whitehall to Joel and Ethel (Everson) Jackson. He graduated from the Whitehall High School, attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and the accounting school in Madison.

Richard was employed as an accountant for Beloit Power Systems in Beloit and the Lennox China Co. in St. Charles, IL.

Richard is survived by his mother, Ethel Jackson of Blair; a sister, Priscilla (Gerald) Shute of Eagle Point, OR and two sons, Todd and Andrew Jackson.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home with burial in the Lincoln Cemetery both in Whitehall. Pastor Toby Ellison will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
