Roderick Harris Halverson, age 74, of rural Taylor, died on Friday, May 26, 2017 in the Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls.

Roderick was born on May 29, 1942 to Rudolph and Margaret (Bergerson) Halverson. Rod farmed and worked at the Jensen Tie Company in Arcadia and with Merlin Fredrickson.

Roderick is survived by his sister, Margie Halverson. In addition to his parents, Roderick was preceded in death by a brother, Merlin and a sister, Bonnie.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Upper Beaver Creek Lutheran Cemetery in rural Taylor with Pastor John Ashland officiating.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
