Roger Harold Christianson, age 66, of Pigeon Falls, formerly of Whitehall, died on Monday, February 20, 2017 in the Black River Memorial Hospital in Black River Falls with family by his side.

Roger was born on January 9, 1951 in Whitehall to Harold and Romelle (Wiench) Christianson. Roger was a carpenter by trade all his life which in his later years enriched him to make gun cabinets, birdhouses and other projects. He was an avid hunter, loved his fishing and loved to take family and friends with him.

Roger is survived by his children, Kelly ( friend, Shannon) Strumness, Kevin Christianson, Kayla Larson and Tracy Rindal; four grandchildren, Kaleb, Ava, Aubrey and Dominic; five sisters, Diane Estenson, Jane Pelke, Kari (John) Klomsten, Debbie (Gary) Fromm and Kim (Todd) Thronson; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his grandparents and parents, Roger was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson and a brother.

A celebration of Roger's life will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall.
