Ronald "Pebble" Irwin Stone, age 81, of Blair, died on Saturday, December 29, 2018 in the Pigeon Falls Health Care Center in Pigeon Falls.

Ron was born on November 5, 1937 in Black River Falls to Herbert N. and Lillian H. (Hanson) Stone. Ron served in the United States Army and worked as a computer programmer and a systems analyst for the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.

Ronald is survived by his children, Mark Stone of Winter Park, FL, Kara (Scott) Pelowski of Oak Creek, Heidi (John) Schiefelbein of Onalaska and Rhonda (Ron) Wilhoit of Belvidere, IL; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian H. Hanson-Stone- Odegard and Herbert N. Stone; a son, Ronald Reed Stone and a brother, Richard "Rock" Stone.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fagernes Lutheran Cemetery in rural Blair with Vicar Paul Sannerud officiating.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family arrangements.
