Roy Oran Arneson, age 85, of Pigeon Falls, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

Roy was born on August 26, 1932 in Whitehall to Marcus and Anna (Engen) Arneson.

Roy was employed at the Trempealeau County Health Care Center Annex in Independence and in the laundry department at the Trempealeau County Health Care Center in Whitehall. Roy enjoyed going to church and going out to eat.

Roy is survived by a sister, Helen (Vern) Vold of Whitehall and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by three brothers, Floyd, Lloyd and Vernon and two sisters, Mardell Peterson and Amy Herman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall with Pastor Peter Jonas officiating. Burial will be in the Old Whitehall Cemetery in rural Whitehall.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
