Timothy Jay Terpening, age 64, of Ettrick, passed away knowing he was loved, on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Meadowbrook Skilled Nursing Facility in Black River Falls.

Timothy was born on May 24, 1961 to Ronald "Bucky" and Doris (Halderson) Terpening in LaCrosse. Tim attended G-E-T High School, graduating in 1979.

Timothy married Jenifer Paulik on October 8, 1988 and together had two daughters, Hannah and Tori Jay. They parted ways in December of 2008.

His early career began at Checker Grocery, the family-owned store, where he gained hands-on experience in business and meat cutting. Tim later found his stride in retail, dedicating many years to Footlocker, where he rose to the role of manager.

Tim also enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling and hunting with his dad, fishing with his buddies, and spending time with family. He loved watching all Wisconsin sports, especially the Packers.  Tim will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and bright blue eyes.

Timothy is survived by his daughters, Hannah (Tyler) Ramirez and Tori Jay Terpening; a sister, Deborah (Jerome) Reincke; a niece, Sarah (Bryan) Henneman and their children, Sawyer and Parker; a nephew, Matthew Reincke and his son, Henry as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents, Bucky and Doris.

Memorials may be given to the "Come for Supper" fund at Living Hope Lutheran Church in Ettrick, WI.
