Tracie Lynn Wittenberg, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Tracie was born in Menomonee Falls on February 21, 1962 to Joanne (Krueger) and Robert Wittenberg.

Tracie graduated from the Blair High School. After high school, she enjoyed various jobs throughout her life but most recently she shared her caring nature in the home health care field.

Tracie loved spending time with her best friend and companion, Danny Berg. Together they would test their luck at area casinos, enjoy an occasional cycle ride and loved spending time with family and friends. She especially treasured the times she spent with her grandchildren. Tracie also enjoyed watching birds and had numerous feeders in her yard. They were a perfect accompaniment to her beautiful summer flowers. Tracie also had a love of horses which developed at a young age when she was given her first pony.

Tracie is survived by her partner and best friend, Danny Berg; three  sons, Kyle (Lisa) Berg, Kane Berg, and Seth (Jasmine) Lerke; eight special grandchildren, a sister, Kristi (Rod) Noren; a half sister, Robin Wittenberg and many nieces and nephews.

Tracie is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Scott Wittenberg; a nephew; Baby Noren and a great nephew, Nathan Tenneson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1:00pm-3:00pm immediately followed by a memorial service all at the Jack Funeral Home in Blair.

Friends and family are invited to gather at the Friendship First Building in Blair for a light meal after the service.
