Wayne "Lars" Ward Edmark, age 91, of San Antonio, TX, formerly of Whitehall, WI passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Heartis Senior Living in San Antonio surrounded by the love of his family.

Wayne was born on May 23, 1928 in Racine, WI to Alvin and Bessie (Echtner) Edmark. He married Patsy Jean Berg on August 14, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI. Patsy preceded Wayne in death on February 3, 2009.

Wayne was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed being with his family.

Wayne served in the United States Navy and had two tours of duty from 1946 to 1948 and 1950 to 1952. He was employed with Motor Transport, Gross Common Carrier, Express Freight Lines and Burlington Air Freight prior to his retirement in 1990.

Wayne is survived by two children, Wayne (Leslie) Edmark of Bulverde, TX and Robin House of Baldwin, WI; four grandchildren, Alexa (Josh) Campion of Rochester, MN, Curtis (Melanie) House of Baldwin, WI, Conner Edmark of Dallas, TX and Garrett Edmark of Bulverde, TX; five great-grandchildren, Tavan Erdenberger and Dax Campion both of Rochester, MN, Hailey, Jase and Archer House all of Baldwin, WI; a brother, Leon Edmark; two sisters, Muriel Gomaz and Joan Muehl and friend, Scott (Julie) House of Whitehall,WI.

In addition to his parents and wife, Wayne was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Wayne and Patsy's wishes were to have their cremains spread in the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, NM.

The Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
