BLAIR, WI
William Harold Ressel Sr., age 63, of Blair, died on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Tomah Veterans Administration Medical Center in Tomah.
Bill was born on February 25, 1951 in Arcadia to Harold and Eileen (Kotlarz) Ressel. He served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War from 1970 – 1973.
Bill was employed at the AG Creamery and MIDAM in Arcadia prior to AMPI in Blair. He worked hard his entire life. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors.
Bill is survived by his three children, William Ressel Jr. of Blair, Amanda (fiancé, Jeff Klopp) Weaver-Korpal of Arcadia and Jamie (Sarah) Ressel of Arcadia; two grandchildren, Bradyn and Koldyn Korpal; two brothers, Roger Ressel of Arcadia and Mike Ressel of Blair; two sisters, Patricia Ackley of Whitehall and Ruth (Dennis) Schultz of Arcadia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
